Week 3 - Film Poster Planning

In this blog, I will be planning out my film poster :

The Main Image :

I have decided that I want my film poster to be a character poster that features me as the main character. I will also portray the character that has BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder)

Poses / Facial Expressions :

- Scared but psychotic pose

- Happy, yet psychotic smile

(My pose will be inspired by this)

Template :

Actors Name - Top left corner (Made up names)

Main Image - In the middle (Me doing a scared / psychotic pose)

Film Title - Bottom left (Borderline)

Tag Line - On top of the film title (She's not crazy... or is she?)

Production Information - On the Right (From the producers of Orphan & US)

Release Date - Underneath the film title (5th of June 2021)

Colour Scheme :

Here are the main colours that are going to be used in my film poster, very muted and dark. I have decided o use these colours in particular, because I think they suit the thriller genre.

Reasons why I am using these fonts :

I am using these fonts, because I personally like the look of them, and I also think these types of fonts would look good in a film poster, because they look professional.

Extra Effects :

I have decided that in my film poster, I want to include the symptoms of BPD and place them around my head. I also want the text of the symptoms inside the thought bubbles to be bold and red .

I will be using the "Sweet Gentle" font.
