- Loud and Slow sound effects

- Missing sounds (we as the audience feel like they should be included, but they are not)

Connotations (What might this show?)

- A small town in America that is set in the past

- Loud sound effects make the audio seem more frightening that what it should be

- Due to the fact that some sounds are missing, this makes us feel uncertain and confused

- People talking in the background

- Wolf whistling

- Rock music

Connotations (What might this show?)

- Indicating gossip

- Shows how the people are admiring the girl's image

- The rock music shows off the girl by making her look powerful
