2. What does a supervisor editor do as part of their job?
- Their role varies depending on the budget of the production
- They have a "spotting session" with the director and other sound editors to make sure everything sounds accurate and realistic
- They are responsible for the sound budget and organising the workflow
- They usually work in a freelance capacity
3. Who does a supervisor editor work with and what do they do?
- Sound Editor, they make notes on anything that they think needs re-recording
- Music Editor, they are in chafe of the soundtrack and possible theme tune of the film
- Sound Designer, they are in charge of all the extra sounds
- Audio Describer, they are in charge of making detailed description of the film's soundtrack
- Foley Editor, they create certain sounds that the audience sometimes miss
