In today's activity, we learned how to do a type of editing in photoshop called "Colour Splash" Photography". At first, I found Photoshop really difficult to use but after a couple of minutes, i got the hang of it. We were also asked to find the definition of the word 'desaturate', this is what i found.
In photography terms, the word 'desaturate' means to make something less saturated then it already was. For example, making an image black and white. This is an example of desaturation because you are removing all colour (saturation) from that image.
Here are some examples of Colour Splash Photography that inspired me:

The reason why i chose these types of images was because I am a huge fashion fan and i'm into anything beauty related.
These images inspired me by making me do a colour splash edit on something trendy and high fashion
This is the BEFORE and AFTER:

Overall, i think i did an okay job at colour splash photography, some things that i could've improved on what have to be making the road lines and stair lines less vivid and more grey.
