The Black hole

In the exposition (The beginning), we can see a man working in a dark grey office standing in front of a printer picking up papers. As he stands in front of the printer, he kicks it in a very impatient and angry way with his face and body expressions being tired and fed up. This gives the audience a sense of sympathy due to the fact that working in an office can get really boring and really tiring. In the development, a paper with a massive black hole comes out of the printer and the man working in the office realizes that the piece of paper is magical as it has the ability to make holes in solid objects. This gives the man a feeling of power as he can use the the black hole to his advantage, this is the part of the short film when the audience change their opinion on the man as they realize that he is actually the villain of the story as his greed becomes impossible to resist as he starts stealing things from the office (This could also suggest that the man could possibly be a kleptomaniac). The climax/complication is when the man decides to steal money from the office safe as he crawls inside trying to reach all the money. This however, doesn't end well for him as he ends up getting stuck in the safe and locked in. The moral of the story, don't let greed control you.

The Band of Brothers

In the exposition (The beginning), we can see a male soldier on a train possibly traveling home

with a bunch of other people on the train as well. After a couple of seconds, the loud noises on the train turn to silence and we begin to see flashing lights on the train, with the camera zooming in on the soldier's face, this draws attention to the male soldier and we as the audience realize that he is the main character with the flashing lights implying that he is about have a flashback with the filter turning into a dull grey color. In the flashback, we can see two young male soldiers having a stare down on the battle field as one of them shoots the other soldier with a shotgun. The flashback lasts very quick and then switches back to the present day and we as the audience realize that the soldier who survived the shoot down, is the man on the train. This could possibly imply that the man has PTSD (Post-Traumatic-Stress Disorder) as he has a look of guilt on his face. This makes the audience feel emphatic towards the soldier as being in war can be quite traumatic for anyone to experience.
