1. It's the director's job to look over the script, and make sure every cast member knows what they are. In order to become a film director, you will need a bachelor in a media - related subject.

2. Unlike the director, the producer has a more organisational role in film promotion. The producer oversees all parts of a production. The list ranges from agreeing from a budget, organising film schedules, and assessing the editor's cuts. In order to become a film producer, you will need a degree in a media - related subject.

3. Camera operators are very hands on with the equipment. They move and angle the camera to make sure they have the right shot. Some camera operators carry a script with them which lets them know the correct camera shots to take. In order to become a camera operator, you will need a associate's degree in video production or a bachelor's degree in television production.

4. The cinematographer is the head of the camera and lighting crews. They usually work very closely with the director to produce the right visual effect by selecting the right camera. In order to become a cinematographer, you will need a bachelor's degree in lighting and camera techniques.

5. Sound mixers maintain and operate the sound recording equipment. They're responsible for recording all the sound for the production. Once this is done, they will mix the audio content and then create certain sound effects themselves. In order to become a sound mixer, you need a bachelor's degree in audio engineering.

6. In the post - production, the editor will take the visual footage, the sound mixer's radio and other elements and works with the director to cut and shape them into the final product. In order to become a film editor, you will need a bachelor's degree in broadcasting.
