Photography Blog 7 - 10 Pics / Evaluations

Influences - I thought, since Christmas is around the corner, id take a picture of a Christmas object.

Content/Genre - This is a picture of a Christmas ornament, this picture is a type of Christmas Photography

Framing/Composition - The photograph is set out on a low angle

Aesthetics - Depth of Field, low angle shot, flash included, High Definition picture (HD)

Pattern/Texture - The texture for the photograph is a little bit blurry, with the Christmas lights shining in the background

Colour - I used a filter on my phone which was called "Miami" and it made everything in the frame pink.

Strengths and weaknesses - I think this picture is a good example of Depth of field, picture, to improve, I should've made the picture more HD (High Definition)

Influences - At the time, I was on holiday in Wales with my family, and I was bored so I thought I would take some pictures of the surroundings.

Strengths and weaknesses - I think I took a good example of a Line of perspective picture, to improve, just like the picture before, I should've made the picture more HD (High Definition)

Influences - At the time, me and my family were having a walk in the park and my step mum took a picture of me, my dad, and my younger brother.

Strengths and weaknesses - I think this picture is an okay example of Rules of Thirds, but I wish I had used a better picture

Influences - In my mood board, this is what I was talking about when I mentioned that I was going to take pictures of fruit that has been chopped up.

Pattern/Texture - The texture for the photograph is high definition and has nothing in the background.

Colour - I used a filter on my phone which was called "Miami" and it made everything in the frame pink, but for some odd reason, the filter made this picture look more dark

Strengths and weaknesses - I think I took a good example of a filling the frame picture, to improve, I would've probably should've used flash, because the picture does look quite dark.

Influences - In my mood board, I mentioned that I was going to take pictures of humans such as their faces. I decided to take an extreme close up of my right eye.

Content/Genre - This is a picture of an extreme zoomed in face, which focuses on the eye,

Pattern/Texture - The texture for the photograph is quite blurry, with the flash from my phone located right in the centre of my eye.

Strengths and weaknesses - I think I took a good picture of my eye, but to improve I would've probably used photoshop to conceal the flash from the camera in my eye

Influences - In my mood board, I mentioned that I was going to take pictures of humans such as their faces. I decided to take a picture of my grandparents dressed up as Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head. I thought doing this, would show off their funny personality

Strengths and weaknesses - This is a really funny / cute portrait photograph. To improve, Although I personally love the picture, I do wish that the picture was more HD (High Definition)

Content/Genre - This is a Depth of Field photograph of 3 cereal boxes that I took inside Paula's classroom

Framing/Composition - This is a photograph of three cereal boxes with the camera focusing on the Shreddies. This is set out on a medium angle

Strengths and weaknesses - I think I have done a good job of focusing on certain things whilst using a camera. For an improvement, I wish i had used more objects when I the opportunity

Influences - In my mood board, I mentioned that I was going to take pictures of humans such as their faces. In this picture, Katie took a picture of my face underneath a pink strobe lights

Content/Genre - This is a picture that Katie took of me whilst we were in the studio with Claire. This is another example of Depth of Field photography

Framing/Composition - The photograph is set out on a low angle and is taken in the pitch black wit a simple pink light shining on my face, possibly creating a horror effect

Colour - The colour is quite dark, and due to the pink lighting, the picture looks like it has a pink filter on it

Strengths and weaknesses - This picture has really good HD (High Definition). To improve, I wish that my whole face was in the picture to make it look less scary

Content/Genre - This is a picture that Katie took of me whilst we were in in the photography studio with Carolyn. This is another example of Depth of Field photography

Strengths and weaknesses - Just like the other picture that was taken in the other studio, this picture has quite good HD (High Definition). For an improvement, I wish I had smiled more whilst Katie was pictures of me
